We Are HERE!
After a long day and a half, we are here, sitting in our hotel in Nizhny Novgorod using our free wireless internet access...how crazy is that! Our travels included 16 hours of flights (3) and a 5 hour train ride from Moscow to Nizhny Novgorod. We have had a good trip honestly. Our only casualty was 1 wheel on Phil's rolling suitcase, but we are managing just fine.
Our drivers and translators have been so kind, we are feeling amazingly OK despite sleep deprivation and being SO FAR FROM HOME!
In the morning we will head to the Ministry of Education to receive the official invitation and where-abouts of "Little Man". We will then go to his orphanage and meet with several staff there to gain information about him before we get a 20-30 minute visit. We are excited and nervous--tomorrow is a big day.
We plan to keep our blog updated and will write more tomorrow. Good night all.

YEA!!! I'm so happy to see you made it safely and seeing those big smiles on your faces took me back to the day we landed in Vladivostok to meet Owen for the first time. I can't wait to hear all about your day tomorrow!
For a couple who spent an entire day on airplanes or in airports, you sure look pretty good! :)
We're praying for peace as you move on to the next steps with the MOE, then meeting "Little Man." May God shelter you all. Thanks for the update.
Love,
Chrystal and Scott and family
Glad to see that things are going smoothly for you guys. We can hardly wait to see how things will turn out tomorrow. We will keep you in our prayers! Tom and Kim Vincent
Yeah! I'm so thankful for your update...you two look so fresh and full of life despite the all the travels and missing wheel. We are praying God's care over you and are excited to hear about tomorrow.
